The 74th OAP National Convention was a two-day event dedicated to various aspects of eye health and optometry. This convention included a series of lectures addressing specialized services, vision loss, mental health, and advancements in clinical trials and research. Attendees had the opportunity to enhance their understanding of the optometry field and the essential services provided to their communities. Additionally, participants observed demonstrations of clinical procedures and discussions on critical issues pertinent to optometric practice.

A significant convention highlight was a cultural presentation from the Cordillera region, particularly Baguio. Attendees were immersed in traditional native dances and had the opportunity to view modern attire crafted from locally woven fabrics, offering a unique insight into the region's rich cultural heritage.

In summary, the convention served as an excellent platform for optometrists, to exchange knowledge, and engage in enjoyable activities. This event facilitated networking, sharing of expertise, and strengthening of relationships within the optometry community.
